Jayne McQuillan founded Journey Consulting with one goal in mind – to Change Lives by Transforming Businesses. A Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), Jayne has 30+ years of expertise in succession and transition planning, strategic planning, organizational development, budgeting and business planning, and leadership development.

Her firm’s comprehensive approach addresses the financial, personal, and business aspects to achieve strategic outcomes for family-owned and privately held businesses. Jayne and her team work with business owners to create profit growth and value acceleration through the Value Journey™ process.

Jayne’s unending passion and energy come from a desire to accelerate growth by developing people and organizations to their fullest potential. She is a respected thought leader in the industry who frequently educates and equips business owners and advisors through speaking engagements, business articles, YouTube videos, Owner Roundtable Workshops, Financial Acumen Training, and CEO Roundtables, in addition to her monthly blogs. Her expertise has been invaluable to clients in various industries, including manufacturing, construction, distribution, service, and healthcare.
Jayne has served on the Board of Directors for multiple companies and not-for-profit agencies, where she has been a key contributor and value-driver. Prior to starting her own entrepreneurial journey in 2007, she held various executive roles in privately owned and family-held businesses, as well as working as an M&A advisor for a large public accounting firm.

Jayne holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She earned her MBA in Management from Concordia University and served as an Adjunct Instructor, teaching MBA-level classes in Strategic Planning, Accounting, Finance, Small Business Management, Leadership and Organizational Behavior, and Business Ethics.
Jayne lives in Green Bay, Wisconsin with her husband Dan. They have three grown children and one grandson. When not working, Jayne can be found swimming, strength training, walking their two Labrador retrievers, spending time at their cottage in northern Wisconsin boating, enjoying time with family and friends, and traveling. She is a Green Bay Packer season ticket holder and loves to cheer on the Green and Gold.
